The Magic Forest has been a Lake George attraction since 1963. Its features once included the largest Uncle Sam statue in the nation. Things changed in 2019, when it was incorporated into a new attraction called Expedition Park, with the addition of a dinosaur attraction. The Magic Forest is not to be confused with the Enchanted Forest, at Old Forge, deeper into the Adirondacks. That attraction opened first, in 1956, and is now enhanced with a waterpark.
