Upper St. Regis Lake has some of the most exclusive and exotic Great Camps in the Adirondacks. Many of the camps on the lake are only accessible by boat, yet there is only one marina, and it is for the exclusive use of local property owners. The only public boat ramp is located there, too, but it sees little use as there is limited parking, and no gas or other services are available on the lakes. Most visitor boating is by canoe and kayak.
