Seen from Globe Avenue, the building is now across the street from the 405 Freeway, which was finished a year before the photo was taken. Today the property appears similar to its original form, though it has been integrated with the adjacent commercial property, and is now part of Exclusive Motors, a vehicle repair business. On the north side of Venice Boulevard, the neighborhood changes from Palms to Mar Vista at the 405, making this the easternmost building in Mar Vista along Venice. Across the street, Culver City continues for another two blocks west on Venice, before Mar Vista begins.
