This apartment building was constructed in 1915, and is said to be the oldest extant apartment building in the Palms district of Los Angeles. Unlike many of the buildings along Venice Boulevard, its appearance and function have not changed much since 1960, when the earlier photograph was taken. Both images show double-height classical columns supporting a portico with a second story balcony, and an elaborate entablature beneath the projecting cornice. Four adjacent front doors lead to four apartments, two downstairs, and two upstairs, each with a separate street address.
