This dingbat apartment building was constructed in 1957, with six one-bedroom apartments, and four garages. Hidden behind the building at the back of the lot is a small three-bedroom house with wood siding, built in 1923. Typically the garages of this period were barely wide enough to fit the large cars of the time, or tall enough to fit many of the cars of today, and end up being used as storage. Little has changed on the outside of the building, besides the loss of the Googie-esque trapezoidal sign bearing the name of the building, Jo-Lin—this dingbat’s only distinctive feature.
