Delamar Lake

The lake bed of Delamar, between Alamo and Elgin, in southern Nevada, has been used as a training field and an emergency landing strip by the Air Force, which is busy in the skies above the area, and refers to this lake as Texas Lake on air charts. The lake has a few reservoirs dug for watering cattle on its margins, and an island poking out of it as well.
