Yucca Lake

Yucca Lake is a distinct playa at the southern end of Yucca Flat, where most of the nuclear tests performed by the United States were conducted. Though the lakebed itself had no nuclear tests on or under its surface, it has an airstrip on it, as well as a number of drainage ponds. Next to Yucca Lake are the primary engineering yards for past and current programs at the Nevada Test Site, and a new airport for drones.
