Staten Island Teleport

The Teleport, on Staten Island, is a former satellite communications center, developed by its owners, the Port Authority of NY and NJ. In 2001, its primary tenant, AT&T, moved out of the complex. Since then, the satellite antennas have been removed, and the site has been redeveloped and rebranded into a business park, focusing on data processing and storage. The NYIIX internet exchange has one of five New York City connection points there.
