Cutrale Citrus Juices USA, a subsidiary of the Brazilian company Sucocitrico Cutrale, is the largest orange juice processor in the United States. It began its operations in the Florida in 1996, when Minute Maid decided it would rather market juice than process oranges, and sold its Auburndale and Leesburg plants to Cutrale. Cutrale sells the bulk orange juice it processes at its Florida plants to major brands (including Minute Maid and Coca-Cola’s other juice brand, Simply Orange) and private label customers in the US, as well as shipping at least 29 million gallons of concentrate and bulk juice annually to Europe and Asia from its new eight-million gallon tank farm at Hooker’s Point in Tampa’s port.
