Bradley Landfill

The Bradley Landfill is in Sun Valley, next to a large automobile scrap yard. Unlike most other landfills in the county, it was built up from flat land, forming a hill. In 2000, the Bradley Landfill was receiving 2,200 tons per day, the majority of the City of Los Angeles’ trash. Soon afterwards, it reached its permitted height, and shut down.
