This photovoltaic plant began by delivering 19 megawatts in May, 2013, but is expected to produce a total of 127 megawatts when it is complete, sometime in 2014. It is one of two plants planned for the area by the company, LS Power, near the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station in western Arizona. Power from this solar plant is being bought by San Diego Gas and Electric.
