Sara Irving is a photographer who teaches at New Mexico State University and was a resident in Wendover in 1999. While in Wendover, she explored the region and made hundreds of black and white images. She returned later to install an exhibit of this work, using multiple images, assembled in visually disjunctive, yet conceptually related panoramas, entitled Markings, Explorations from Wendover, shown in the CLUI Wendover Exhibit Hall 1 in 2002.
