Writer Ginger Strand spent time in Wendover in the summer of 2009, researching and writing about the long exit-less stretch of I-80 just east of Wendover for a book on the interstate highway system. She also worked on an essay looking at the Wendover and New York City water systems and collected a number of digital interviews with local Wendover residents, and published an article about Speed Week in Orion Magazine.
