John Brinton Hogan, a photographer living in San Diego, was a resident in Wendover in 2006. During his time there he completed his project Vacation: Memories of the American Landscape, about roadside structures of transit and tourism in Western landscapes. The exhibit was installed in CLUI Wendover Exhibit Hall 1.
