Katherine Bash is a designer and researcher, and the founder of the Itinerant Laboratory for Perceptual Inquiry. She came to Wendover in 2006 to execute a project with writer William L. Fox about the perceptual phenomenology of Floating Island, the isolated landmass at the end of the Bonneville Salt Flats. The project, Floating Point Operation, was installed in CLUI Wendover Exhibit Hall 2.
