Kathleen Shafer, a photographer and PhD candidate in Geography and the Environment at UT Austin, was a resident in 2012. During her time in Wendover she researched the aviation history of Wendover and the current conditions of the working airport, producing a number of chromira prints of the airfield, and a series of sculptural works.
