Michael Light is a photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area and author of Full Moon, 100 Suns, and other books. He came to Wendover in 2006 as part of his ongoing aerial photographic odyssey of the West, photographing the Great Salt Lake and the mining landforms of the eastern Oquirrh Mountains. Some of this work is featured in the large format photo book Bingham Mine/Garfield Stack, published in 2009.
