Owen Gump is a photographer based in Cologne, Germany. He was a resident in Wendover in 2007, and spent his time photographing traces of human transit in the area, including old railroad cuts and sites along the California Trail. He made an exhibition of his photographs of the military training area in the Dixie Valley in northern Nevada, and installed the work in CLUI Wendover Exhibit Hall 2, in 2009.
