Tim Nohe is an electronic media artist and professor of art at the University of Maryland. He was a resident in Wendover in 1999 and returned in 2002. While in Wendover he made numerous samples of the region's artifacts, classifying them and organizing them into exhibits. Physical artifacts were bagged, labeled, and displayed in Exhibit Hall 2. Sound samples were sorted and displayed aurally in CLUI Wendover Exhibit Hall 1. He also began a research project into the nuclear bomb history of the region, which has emerged in his work since.
