Receiving Station K is located on Centinela Avenue, on the edge of Santa Monica. It was energized in 1955, and feeds the west side Distributing Stations numbered 28, 46, 59, 44, and 29. It has long been a desire of DWP to connect it by a larger high voltage line to the Scattergood power plant, a process that is still being negotiated with local communities.
