This barracks was the first building leased and restored by the CLUI at Wendover, in 1995. Exhibitions included the initial Around Wendover exhibit and installations created by participants of the CLUI Residence Program. For nearly 20 years the building was open to the public 24/7/365, by pressing the access code into a mechanical key pad on the front door. The code was available to anyone who called the phone number posted on the door, which connected them to the CLUI phone system, which provided them with the code.
