This is the former officers club for the base, which once had a bar, gym, and dining hall. It had a bad roof for a number of years, causing damage to much of the interior, and for years it was referred to as the "chicken coop" because of the amount of pigeons and pigeon droppings inside. It has since been restored and is open to the public, with several exhibits and displays about the historic airfield.
